The “advanced audio netlabel” Digital Diamonds was founded in late 2006 by Alic, a DJ and production duo from Muenster, Germany. Recognizing the future possibilities inherent in digital distribution, they seek to promote high-quality electronic music with a focus on “deep techno and trance music with soul.” Drawing upon the best aspects of both psytrance and techno, the Digital Diamonds sound is influenced by Midi Miliz/Extrawelt and labels like Boshke Beats and Kompakt Extra (Speicher).

After the synchronous release of their first two singles, Digital Diamonds enjoyed a strong response from music fans around the world. Wetlands is an event dedicated to preserving the integrity of our natural water bodies… both our own heavenly bodies and those earthly waters found outside ourselves. As such, all proceeds from this event will be gratefully donated to Task Force to Bring Back The Don: an organization formed and upheld by local residents dedicated to the restoration and maintenance of the Toronto Don River.
