I think you need to do most things through a browser but I haven’t been back in a little while.

@ Picciau: there is a button called “Whole directory” on the left side beyond “Play / Download” if you click the whole archive of what
you have uploaded will be compressed with zip and up in one single file and a download with all stuff in it will start automaticly. Or you put all your files into a RAR or ZIP archive before you upload your music and then upload it for the people – that is all.

This will surely save me some time when uploading the first releases on my new netlabel. Would probably have gotten stuck with http://www.archive.org/create/ITEMNAME if you didn’t mention renaming the “ITEMNAME”-part. Thanks!

Yes, when you licence a release under the Creative Commons certain rights are protected and you may litigate if someone uses your work in defiance of the terms. There are few examples of this actually happening, however… hiring a lawyer is not cheap!

I am having trouble finding information about the legal aspects of netlabels. I understand it’s not a money-making venture for me but I am still interested in protecting my label name, logo, and releases from unauthorized commercial use. Does simply owning a domain or posting a “Creative Commons” boilerplate on my site give me a legal right to recourse if I see somebody else plagiarizing my copy or using one of my tracks in a commercial capacity?
