From the classroom to the outside world, Sattel Battle’s sound emerges as an urbanized collage of rock, metal, punk, psychedelia and Suomi-saundi influences. The music fuses slick funky bass lines and innovative melodic ideas with layers of oozing spatial tangents. This is an untamed sonic wilderness designed for no fuss dance floor bizness! Very finely mashed together. Wonderful mastering as well. I can’t see why he’d get much hate if he’s doing this good now, especially on this album in particular. You can really get that full psychedelic…”feel” from Free-Form, as well as that rolling bass from Fullon. Great album!
