Striving to blend night elements into progressive-oriented tracks and highly influenced by Ireland’s psychedelic music scene, the album develops from deep digging tunes into a more psychedelic straightforward mood towards the end. Expect to hear squelchy bubbles and glitched percussion trapped by dry and fat basslines as obscure detuned leads meet bright and obvious melodies. But above all and despite the BPM or whichever sub-genre it fits into, the piece definitely seeks psychedelia all the way! Irish psychedelic trance label Galactic Groove Records proudly presents Digital Forest, the debut release from Sionnach (Tadhg Kelly), a native of Galway in the West of Ireland. This album features seven highly distinct compositions, each exploring a different facet of night-time psychedelia. Additional support on this album is provided by pseudo-internet-celebs and all round cheeky boyz, Nayan (Ireland), Xymox (Scotland), and Lah Narrad (N. Ireland). Ranging from 147 BPM to 154 BPM, this collection aims to take the listener on a journey through deep and dark grooves alongside funky and faster elements, making for a colourful journey through darkness.
