Boomslang is a collaboration between Meta (AKA The 1134) and Chiral, two producers from California who were inspired to join forces after their experiences in the underground outdoor festival scene. Now with several EPs and compilation appearances behind them, the American duo are serving up their first full-length album Mind Altering Machine, a vibrant and energetic compendium of freestyle full-on psytrance for morning, daytime, and the murky twilight hours. Primordial Booze marks the debut of The 1134, a collaboration between American producers Etienne (Seizure Lab, Designflaw, Psybooty) and Meta (Boomslang, Logical Light, AT Records). After working together on “Dark Magic”, a track from Meta’s debut album Ekstasis (2007), they have continued to collaborate on freeform California-style psychedelic trance, drawing elements from full-on, twilight, and darkpsy to achieve their aims.
