This is where it all began… 1995 marks the break out year for the nascent “Goa trance” style with important releases from the UK (Hallucinogen, TIP, Platipus, etc.), continental Europe (Koxbox, Total Eclipse, Electric Universe, etc.), and Israel (Trust In Trance and Indoor). This laid the groundwork for the explosion of classic acts that would take place in 1996.

where is dragonfly,order odanata,a trip into trance..mixed by paul oakenfold?..esssential in 95.my favourite track of all time is new moon by ayahusca on it….
Buzzment, I really agree with you about Oakenfold’s “A Voyage into Trance” (Dragonfly). This was just a fantastic and genre-defining compilation. One of the outstanding things about it, and Oakenfold has always been good at this (think of “Live from Oslo” for instance), was the flow of it and the consistent strength of every single track. Ta! ~*~
