Afin de souligner et de célébrer l’éclipse solaire du vendredi 1er août, le festival Éclipse 2008 aura lieu le même week-end et se tiendra donc du 1er au 4 août prochain. La 8e édition du festival Éclipse est de retour sur le site des éditions 2005 et 2006, en bordure de la magnifique rivière Gatineau. L’édition solaire sera présentée sur le site enchanteur et naturel du Bonnet Rouge, dans la municipalité de Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau, en Outaouais.
To highlight and celebrate the solar eclipse on Friday August 1st, Eclipse Festival 2008 will be held the same week-end and take place August 1-4. The festival returns to the site of the 2005 and 2006 editions, on the shores of magnificent Gatineau river. The solar edition will be presented in the enchanting natural landscape of Bonnet Rouge, in Sainte-Thérèse-de-la-Gatineau, Outaouais.

Directions de Montréal (une balade d’environ 3 heures…):
Prenez l’autoroute 15 Nord. Après St-Jovite, continuez sur la 117 direction Mont-Laurier. 15 kilomètres après Mont-Laurier, prenez la route 107 à gauche vers Maniwaki (signalisation St-Famille d’Aumond et Maniwaki). Environ 10 kilomètres après avoir traversé le village d’Aumond, vous arriverez à une intersection. À l’intersection, continuez tout droit sur le chemin Ste-Thrérèse sur 13 kilomètres. À la fourche, prenez le chemin de la rivière Gatineau (à droite) sur une distance de 7 km. Vous aperceverez alors la signalisation indiquant indiquant l’entrée du site plein air Le Bonnet Rouge. www.bonnetrougerafting.com

~ ESPACE COMME-UN (présenté sous le dôme de lumière) ~
Espace favorisant l’art et la conscience, l’Espace Comme-un permettra, dans son volet solaire, de participer à des conférences et à des ateliers sur des sujets diversifiés, alors que son volet lunaire sera axé sur la projection multimédia d’images, de courts métrages et de films. Ce lieu se veut un espace de synergie entre les participants, où ils pourront, l’espace d’un moment, se détendre, apprendre, se laisser captiver et se réchauffer au besoin…
Cet espace sera officiellement inauguré samedi midi, avec un diner d’abondance où chacun est invité à apporter un plat à partager. Tout au long du festival, vous êtes invités également à venir afficher vos talents sur le babillard afin de tisser des liens tant pendant qu’après le festival. De plus, les participants pourront placer des cadeaux dans une boite, et ces cadeaux seront redistribués aléatoirement pendant le festival, favorisant ainsi l’expression des liens et des coïncidences.

ESPACE COMME-UN (under the dome of light)
The Espace Comme-un will foster art and consciousness. Its solar portion will allow participants to take part in conferences and workshops on varied topics, while its lunar portion will focus on multimedia projection: images, short films and films. This area will be a space of synergy between participants, where they can, if only for a moment, relax, learn, be captivated and get warm at need.
The space will be officially launched on Saturday at noon with a potluck lunch: everyone is invited to bring a dish to share. Throughout the festival, you are also invited to showcase your talents on the bulletin board, so that bonds can be created both during and after the event. Participants can also place presents in a box—those presents will be redistributed at random during the festival, increasing the expression of links and coincidences.
