Elysium – Dance For The Celestial Beings

Danish tribal trance artist Elysium (Kristian Thinning) is one of a handful of producers associated with the first wave of the mid-nineties Goa trance movement. Recently he has released his entire back catalogue for free starting with the full-length album Dance For The Celestial Beings, originally released on CD and vinyl by Nova Zembla in 1995. For those unfamiliar with Elysium’s distinct style, his compositions are often graceful and contemplative, strongly hypnotic, and feature a wide variety of tribal elements—drums, vocals, and sounds of nature. Dance For The Celestial Beings was produced, mixed, and written by Kristian Thinning and co-produced by Carsten Wigant at the Hypnotic LFO’s Room, Copenhagen, Denmark. Remastered in 2009.
