  • Lurfilur says:

So damn good!! Very well produced in every possible way!!

  • Tchud Trance says:

Oy vey. Neogoa does it again. A crisp, solid production that was a download-and-must-listen after the first sample track! PsiloCybian gives us a lot to digest and deal with here, and he does it with nine blistering tracks! (The tenth is a chill. Nice groove, there.) Is this really Goa? Hell yes, it is, and I think it is time for me to donate again. Another upside to the album is that it includes alternate artwork for covers- the psychedelic dissolved brain cover freaked me out, so I had to switch it. Good work!!

  • psylophyta says:

  • 2Spirals says:

Here you got me all excited that this was a new PsiloCybian album.. I downloaded it and then looked in my Psytrance folders… I’ve had this album since 2012. What gives trying to pass it off as brand-new??? Its a great album though, yes of course. But its not new at all. Nice try, looks lik you fooled everyone else…

  • Richpa says:

As I explained on Ektoplazm’s facebook page, this album indeed was supposed to be released by Flow/Hyperflow Records, but due to some issues with the label it was cancelled and now finally released for FREE at Neogoa. It’s not available anywhere else except illegal download sites, which might be the source of your 2012 copy. Anyway it’s always a pleasure to see people bitc**** about freestuff.

Thanks for your comments and feedback guys, we will be releasing a lot of interesting stuff in upcoming months, so stay tuned :)

  • Ivan says:

    Great work !!! xD

  • 2Spirals says:

Oh sorry — no a friend gave it to me, I don’t know where he got it, sorry!!!! But either way, awesome album.

  • LittleRave says:

I actually have no clue as to why this is labeled as Goa. There’s not a single track I’d count as, not even the collab with Deimos.
Anyway, it’s a nice solid album with a depth rarely seen in Full-On, although I must admit I had expected more from PsiloCybian, considering what I’ve heard before. It lacks variation between the different tracks and most tracks miss something truly catchy.

  • vega says:

Thank you for the great musuc! To be subject to party people in Japan, no doubt.

  • twig says:

right next to magic mountains this is the best release i’ve heard so far, i simply can’t imagine any better psy

  • sandesh says:

… Killer release… full support and respect!!! :)

  • pyc says:

LittleRave, this is Neo Goa sound and it’s one fantastic album, can’t get enough of it…

  • LittleRave says:

pyc, well … Neogoa has this touch of oldschool Goa, just as the description here says: “Anything with a hint of that golden age vibe. Where old school meets new school!”. This one doesn’t imo. I’d rather consider some of these tracks to be Twilight, as it’s deep, atmospheric Full-On with a slight touch of darkness. I remember Keamia’s Diagnosis release some years ago being considered as Twilight, which would also make this release partly count as … Diagnosis is no longer set as Twilight anymore, I dunno, guess definitions have changed … mh, whatever …

  • Tchud Trance says:

Well, Blackstarrfinale’s AURYN is also classified as Goa, but it sounds much like this album, although deeper in some areas. I guess the Neogoa formula no longer subscribes to the typical Astral Projection sound structure we were so accustomed to in 1996. I guess it all depends on how you define the Goa sound.

  • LittleRave says:

I see it this way: These days, hardly anything is truly new. Most genres created are just a blend of two or more already existing genres. Hardtekk: Hardtrance + Techno, Neurofunk: Drum & Bass + Acid/Techno (at least it was in the beginning), Trouse: Trance + Electro, Trancecore: Happy Hardcore + Epic Trance, Freeform: Trancecore + Acid/DnB/Psy/whatever … Somewhere you have to draw the line between the different genres, at some point a track has taken too much influence of one genre to be sorted into the other one.
As you mentioned Blackstarrfinale’s Auryn, that’s the case in some tracks. These do range somewhere between Goa and Full-On (therefore could be considered as Neogoa), most of them, however, are so deeply influenced by Full-On that I personally would rather count them as Full-On with Goa influence, not vice versa (maybe there’s the difference in my understanding of the term Neogoa) and hence I’d sort them into Full-On. However, I do comprehend why one would still call it Goa.
In this case I can’t hear even a slight Goa influence and so I don’t feel myself in the position to understand why it’s counted as Goa.

  • Dumchii says:

Insane Album a must download for every1 listen to track 5,7&8

  • Aitak says:

Very very good music but wav version is cuted at 20000 seams like mp3 320 converted to wav (spetral view). if you can send me real wav i will be glad to play some of them in the next festival that i have soon. sorry if i m too much freak but quality is very important as tecnique.

  • Basilisk says:

You can’t rely on spectral analysis to identify transcodes. Deimos is known for trimming high frequencies during mastering. The FLAC and WAV files are lossless; play them out with confidence.

  • PsiloCybian says:

Hellou there :D thank you for all your kind words :D
@Aitak thats been done intentional during the mastering stage so be sure this is the wav and no transcoding has been done after the fact ;)

  • ikona says:

What a beautiful uplifting music. Thank you bro. ;)

  • kostas says:

ok gus tis is good psy trance, but not goa trance

  • pyc says:

Don’t know how some people can’t hear that, but this album is full of classic Goa melodies, and all of that is packed with modern sounds and production. As far as I’m concerned, this is pure Neo Goa for me… It would be interesting to see what author thinks about it..

  • Richpa says:

The classification of the sub-genre here is irrelevant, just because the fact that we really try to publish quality psychedelic uptempo and downtempo music. Of course, our aim is to focus on Goa trance, but we really like to offer something more experimental sometimes. BlackStarrFinale’s AURYN also had the same approach as this album has. For me personally the definition of Goa isn’t 8 minutes of repetative eastern melodies with fat kick-drums. This is something different and the development and structure of melodies are different. Does that mean it’s not Goa? I don’t think so, it’s just a matter of different approach and richer production. Just like BSF AURYN, Brain Dissolver boldy takes the best from melodic side of Goa trance and the energy of psytrance and blends it into unique sonic product. People will always agree/disagree about the genres, but what matters here is that we all put a lot of effort to get this album to people for FREE download. I won’t speak for Saša, but i’m sure he has been influenced by Goa trance since his early works, and his work on this album and as Scew Loose speaks about that influence. Some people will see it as a Goa trance, others won’t :)

  • DumChii says:

This is the best album ever Full on PSY

  • Nymphomania says:

I think the reason people are disputing the subgenre is because this music is similar to something that already exists, that being Wildthings Rec / Peak Rec style ‘twilight’ full on as mentioned above.

Luckily, this is my favorite kind of psy. :) I love this shit, 5/5

Goa style tonalities and leads never completely left psytrance as it transitioned into full on and other subgenres after the turn of the millenium. Of course they are here.

  • Nymphomania says:

Deep, ear pleasing production and synth texture.
