Protogenesis marks the debut of Toronto-based producer Søren Nordström on Drumlore, Ektoplazm’s techno-oriented sublabel. This release showcases five deeply atmospheric journeys to the borderlands of progressive trance and techno. From calculating mechanical grooves to warm waves of bass, Søren outlines the contours of his emerging style with a wide range of approaches. All tracks written and produced by Søren Nordström. Mixing and mastering by Dan Driscoll. Additional editing and artwork by Alexander Synaptic.

Maybe I have a bad day today and it’s the fault of this, but the music is poor …
I grew up on a minimal and did not feel this or some of the rhythm. The first track is not minimal at all, and finally in this section has been placed. Słaaabbbee
Cyber, I’m forced to agree with you on Genre classification. Some of this release is not minimal at all. Some of it is. The point of putting a classification on it is to assist the user in finding music that he/she might enjoy. It is not a hard and fast rule, only a tool to assist. Secondly, I’m sorry you feel the music is poor, do you have any constructive criticism or is “you suck” where that ends?
