Psynon Records proudly presents Digital Realms, the debut release by newcomers Synthalienz. Synthalienz are the latest addition to the label’s musical arsenal, consisting of two members, Haris (AKA Nomad25/Isochronic) and Antreas (AKA Kacid). A collection of four powerful dance-floor shakers ranging from 148 to 152 BPM, Digital Realms is the result of hours of research and experimentation in the quest for discovering new dimensional frequencies. The results are twisted and groovy, with powerful leads and lysergic atmospheres. Each track features its own unique journey through the endless abyss of psychedelic soundscapes. We hope you enjoy exploring your Digital Realms! All tracks written and produced by Haris Demetriou and Andreas Kivittis. Mastered by EVP @ Wild Mastering. Artwork by Paranormal Psyence. For bookings please email bookings@psynonrecords.com. Psynon Records is also found on Bandcamp, Facebook, and SoundCloud.

this is a pretty powerful sound, I really like the basslines.

the ambience creates a three dimensional picture if I focus on it. there are good sounds hidden in the backdrop.

I think, to a casual ear, though, it will sound very monotonous and blend in with a lot of the other music like this (night full on). It’s not very ‘twilight’ to me, as there aren’t really many lead sounds, and certainly no melodies. it is more like forest or night music in that it is a very atonal, ambient style of music, based around noise oscillators and swirling filtered sweeps.

A good listening/dancing experience but not a standout IMO. Psynon rec has a tendency to sound this way..

    4/5
