With 2012 came many prophecies but none seemed more apparent than the psychedelic success enjoyed by Canadian dubstep masters Tron Sepia (Eric Laufer & Mirek Hamet). Weird Fishes & Other Stories is their highly anticipated debut on Fish ‘n Trips Records, offering a convergence in styles best described as cinematic dubstep-influenced psychedelic wobble music. Not easily caught, but high in psychoactive properties, these “weird fishes” contain huge bass lines, tight beats, and etherial female vocals that will transport the listener to other states of consciousness. Featuring vocals by Gabrielle Laufer, violin by Laurent E. Milo, and artwork by Melodies Visuelles.

Funkadelicasy – Metaphysical

02 - Bon Voyage (150 BPM)
03 - Eyed Monster (150 BPM)

Funkadelicasy is the psychedelic spawn of Daniel J. Cieslak. Metaphysical is his much anticipated free release on Fish ‘n Trips Records, Australia, containing five new and unique tracks described as “chunk with a bit of funk”. Hi-tech and darkpsy-influenced sounds combine with warped leads and gated, stuttering passages to form a sound that resonates with psychedelic intent. Dan’s early influences included metal and hip-hop but he soon found fresh roots within psytrance. Soon thereafter he was talking tech with production gurus like Electrypnose and visiting Europe to party and learn. With mastering and cover art both handled by Daniel, it has been clear he is on a mission to move bodies and influence minds.
