Compiled by S.E.T.H., this release focuses on fresh talent producing full-on, twilight, darkpsy, and psycore for night-time dance floor journeys. A Sharp Kick To The Third Eye is the dazzling debut of Satori (Rory Robinson), an Australian psytrance producer based in Sydney. He first began the project in 2005 and has played events all over Australia since then. Released by Fish ‘n Trips Records, this 4-track stormer belts out hard and heavy beats at a hectic pace, reaching as high as 170 BPM. This might explain the name of the project; Satori is described as “a spiritual awakening sought in Zen Buddhism, often coming suddenly.” Mastered by Rory Robinson with cover artwork by Kias Henry.
