Oya Collective

The Oya Collective is a non-profit organization formed by a group of volunteers from the Peterborough community. Their mission statement describes a wish to “participate in the collective creation and exploration of heightened states of human consciousness, interconnection, spirituality, and healing through psychedelic and creative music, art, dance, and ritual.” The collective is dedicated to the idea that the thought and intention behind every gathering is just as important as the quality of the music. For this reason, Oya events regularly feature visionary artwork, ecstatic dance, meditation, healthy food, and yoga in addition to psychedelic trance and downtempo DJs and live performers.
