Southeastern Ontario

Harvest Festival 2006

A small psytrance scene exists in Peterborough, one of the larger cities between Toronto and Ottawa, but there is little else to speak of in this region. All of this changes when summer rolls around, as Southeastern Ontario frequently hosts festivals thrown by crews from the nearby urban centres. Many fans in this area travel to Toronto or Montreal to attend events.

I and husband Paul are currently in AZ for the cold months but will be back in Harcourt Park (near Wilberforce, west of Bancroft) in April for the warm months. I’ll be checking your listings for Peterborough then since it’s definitely closer than the 3 hour drive to Toronto and its the quality of the music that counts, not the big names or venues. I had to websearch for OYa’s location but now I have it. Thanks. Maybe now upper SE Ontario won’t be so much of a dance music wasteland for us.
