Upstate New York

Upstate New York covers all points north and west of New York City including Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester, and Albany. Aside from being festival territory for the huge scene in NYC, psytrance activity in Upstate New York is mainly confined to small-scale events in Buffalo. Just across the Canadian border from Toronto and the rest of Southwestern Ontario, Buffalo is home to many electronic music fans, some of which are beginning to hold psytrance-oriented events in town. Dharma Lab is certainly their biggest export; they often appears at events across the region.
