Interesting photos from around the web, most of which probably have something to do with psytrance culture. Many are lifted directly from the Ektoplazm photostream on Flickr.

Last weekend the Shakti and Neuromantix collectives combined forces to organize a free open air psytrance festival in Southeastern Ontario: All Stars. I arrived without expectations but was immediately impressed by the awesome stage design (pictured above). Given that it was a small-scale event mainly attended by friends and family it was one of the most stress-free weekends I’ve had in a while, and for that I give my thanks to all involved. The sound system was perfect for the size of the event and the land–well, I found it to be the among most ideal festival locations I have been to in Eastern Canada. Let’s hope for a return next year!
More photos of the event are available on Flickr or Facebook.
Eclipse 2009 was a great festival just as expected! View the rest of my photos on Flickr or Facebook. I also played at Eclipse this year; check out the live recording of my Friday evening techno/psytrance set!
The third Entheos Summer Solstice Conference & Festival was held outside of Squamish in a gorgeous valley bordered by mountains and shaped by a raging glacier-fed river. If you are anywhere near B.C. this time next year be sure to look into Entheos; it truly is one of the most beautiful gatherings I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of. Here are a few of my photos from the event:
My full set of Entheos 2009 photos can be found on Flickr. Others can be seen in the Entheos group pool. Facebook users are welcome to scope out some of the highlights in this gallery or by joining the Entheos Facebook group.
