Midiskibis (Sami Pekkarinen) is an electronic music project from the rabid human-baboon, Skibis from Papua. His first musical experiments were drumming the human skull at the age of three. Today he lives in southern Finland and has a background in the underground psytrance world with projects like Re-Animator and Pekkanikkarinen. Twilight Troubadour, a mini album released by Freudian Slip Records, is mostly inspired by the classic horror stories and crappy B-movies. A few of the songs are made for the soundtrack of certain short movie made in 2010. Produced with Astroschnautzer (Wille Hermansson) at Freudian Slip Studios, 2010. We are proud to present the first album by Sattel Battle (Elad Weinberg), SoundsCool, originally released on Gi’iwa Productions in 2006. From the classroom to the outside world, Sattel Battle’s sound emerges as an urbanized collage of rock, metal, punk, psychedelia and Suomi-saundi influences. From the dark side, with a smile! Darth Phader, known earlier from his releases on the Finnish Antiscarp netlabel and locally in Helsinki from the Puukko Junkkarit crew, presents a curious mixture of styles on The TIE Fighter Of Love. Tracing a long history in the electronic underground from the rave days to the modern synthesis, this album showcases Darth Phader‘s unique take on what psychedelic dance music is all about, bringing fresh ideas to the new generation! Genre boundaries are crossed and broken frequently, but the tracks nevertheless insist on staying on the psychedelic vibe throughout. Pekkanikkarinen is a new project from Admiral Appo and Midiskibis, newly-wed gentlemen from southern Finland with a background in the underground psytrance world. Here they proudly present the story-like Uni, an intricate 5 track mini-album co-released by People Of The Butterflies and Freudian Slip Records. This is the soundtrack to Unimaailma (Dreamworld), a play performed by the Finnish fire/fluoro dance group Revontuli. The music is creative and unpredictable, switching from broken beats and abstract experimental grooves to ripping Suomi-style psytrance before spiralling outward in a bewitching haze.
