Etnoscope is a legendary Swedish tribal trance project founded in the year 2000 by Martin Colin, Rasmus Alanne, and Ludvig Engelbert. Their debut album Drums From The Dawn Of Time was originally released on Digital Structures in 2003 to great critical acclaim. Harnessing the universal power of the drum, one of humankind’s most ancient instrument, Etnoscope has created a timeless classic of progressive psytrance. Organic rhythms, evocative vocals, and highly stylized synth-work combine to manifest a primal trance-dance ritual that transcends the boundaries of time and space. Featuring vocals by Carola Szücs, Lotta Hedberg, and Lisbet A. Lanne as well as didgeridoo by Linus Zättervall.

Regenerated is the third full-length studio album by Danish tribal trance pioneer Elysium (Kristian Thinning Andersen). Originally released on CD by Avatar Records in 2002, it followed the launch of Celestial Sounds & Tribal Beats, his previous album, by nearly half a decade. With Regenerated, Kristian remains true to the inspiring blend of tribal downtempo and ethno-influenced trance that defined his early career while adopting a clean and expansive aesthetic. Danish tribal trance artist Elysium (Kristian Thinning) is one of a handful of producers associated with the first wave of the mid-nineties Goa trance movement. Recently he has released his entire back catalogue for free starting with the full-length album Dance For The Celestial Beings, originally released on CD and vinyl by Nova Zembla in 1995. For those unfamiliar with Elysium’s distinct style, his compositions are often graceful and contemplative, strongly hypnotic, and feature a wide variety of tribal elements–drums, vocals, and sounds of nature. Dance For The Celestial Beings was produced, mixed, and written by Kristian Thinning and co-produced by Carsten Wigant at the Hypnotic LFO’s Room, Copenhagen, Denmark. Remastered in 2009.
