| I went to Goa in '96 and it's a blast. There's a lot drunkards there from the UK. NO AMERICANS, I was the only American I met. The food and lodging are cheap. The Goa trance is everywhere, on the beach, at the restaurants, in the pubs... You will definitely get your trance's worth. A lot of people come off as their hot-shit ravers, or destined for the alley drug addicts. The natives all want rupees, but their nice and accommodating. Avoid driving at dusk, the natives burn a lot of wood to repel mosquitoes, and it looks like a forest fire of smoke everyday… I CAN'T WAIT TO GO AGAIN…. |

I'm trying to form a new trance/techno band to play 100% live, to jam and take the music where it should go, according to what the ravers want (totally interactive). I'm looking for keyboard players and drummers. Drummers should have electronic kits, although I may have to buy an electronic kit myself cos electronic drummers are hard to find, so if your and acoustic drummer and your REALLY interested then you may have a chance. I have my music available at http://acidiax.iuma.com My favorite hang-out to get my good dose of trance and techno is The Drome particularly on 'Mindscapes' nights although 'Raindance' kicks ass too. Tyssen Street Studios is good too, and sometimes I turn up at The Fridge in Brixton when there's nothing better on and I need to loose a lot of energy (often totally unplanned/last minute!) |
