Where is Trance in the Y2K?
Sun Nov 21 11:23:35 GMT 1999
Talking about evolution, I just have to say that I can't see how psy-trance could possibly die away. I mean, just check out this site with all the addicts of the psychedelic sound and you'll know why. It's us who keep it alive and I don't see where we would be going to leave psy-trance.
Anyway, there's another issue I'd like to discuss. That is psy-trance going mainstream. I don't think it'll ever be mainstream, but I don't see any problems in it if it does, unlike most of you seem to think. The reason it's not mainstream is that most people just cannot grasp it. They cannot get into the music and feel the worlds that it creates around us and the altered states of mind. When I first thought about psy-trance going mainstream, I thought: no, I don't want all those self-centered club animals to spoil the psy-trance vibe. But then I realized that they won't like it until they have adopted the way of thinking that goes with psy-trance and therefore when those snobs and the rest of them will find psy-trance they won't be snobs anymore. They just can't because everything psy-trance stands for is against all that trying to be someone who you aren't and being that zombie club animal who's just trying to be cool. Therefore before psy-trance could go mainstream, a great change in the way of thinking of the large public must occur and I can't see how that could be bad. If psy-trance will go mainstream, it will symbolize a change in the way of thinking of the masses, a change away from appearances and just seeking gain for oneself and towards living together in harmony.
Unfortunately I can't see any immediate changes taking place, so maybe we'll have to be content knowing that atleast we're enlightened and hope that others will follow.
BTW, any psy-trance parties in Finland on around new year and christmas? Please mail me if you have any info......................

I think...that lauri's got it right (21st Nov 99). People shouldn't be afraid of the amazing music that is trance... going mainstream. Although, that is impossible becauase mainstream has for half a century been distinguished by a verse-chorous-verse pop format (where as good trance such as tech and psy is progressive) and it probabaly will be pop shite for another 50 or so years!
Let trance start it's asault on the mainstream with a watered down pop version. OH!! -- Now I understand gatECRASHER.

Yes you should be afaid of trance becoming mainstream. Here are the facts. The reasons why mainstream music is insipid and boring is because the people writing it are concerned with other things (interviews, videos, etc). The underground musician has no hope of becoming rich or famous. The motives for makeing the music are pure. The music is made for the sake of music.

Speaking of New York City.... get your arses out here and help the American Psytrance scene grow. We are young here and already have a big folowing from all those Israeli,UK, and Russian aliens, kids who are sick of the bullshit at "raves" , euro-club trash, sketchy suit and tie people, converted dead-heads, and anomalous nyc entities. We have taken kindly to the dark and dirty sounds (which could quickly turn a trance party into a death metal show), the quirky burbly chunky stuf, fat housy minimal breaks old skool acid decked out with halfstep doubltime breakbeat madness..... you want diversity get the hell to New York... you ask well what about the melodic happy hippy morning psuedo spiritual ambient meditation in a sacred space kinda stuf? yea of course its here... but bring whatever styler of music you want here and we will twist it bend it eat it digest it crap it out and make you eat it again beacause this aint Israel or any other Trance purist paradise... oh want to find out whats going on here check www.brainmachines.com my friend Jeff master of brainmanipulation devides will hook you up with all the info ... maybe you see my fluoro madness at an AlphaTrance party... light, darkness, balance Dan (DNA)

Hey Trance (no need to say other words!) musicians
all over !
Don' t care about those romantic ppl that
are saying that melody and music is required...cause music is old...the notes are
12 or more but...they've been used too much...
let's fly away and start the real trip of trance outside
this earth with sounds...just sounds...not notes..
and textures...not melodies...
minimalistic or not.. this is the most important point!
i just started to build (yeah build) tracks and
maybe you'll hear about me..
Signed an unknown producer and artist...
All the best for all!
Music is mathematica as us and all we can see, touch,
feel,imagine...
Let's do something new each time...but with the
guide of numbers...

I think...Trance Music is excellent and above all - ever changing. By the time I get my music out to the masses, it will be a totally distorted version of the original idea...ISN'T THAT GREAT???!!? I must say, when i'm looking for trance records, i'm always looking for new, ear-catching songs. Tunes that stand out. it's too easy to whip up a psychadaelic tune - just throw in a few squigglies and a beat. I look out for themes, like this one tune with an indian sitar in it. It transforms the song into this whole eastern flavour. LOVE IT!!
Keep the inspiration cooking!!

I was wondering wether someone out there can give me some advice on where I can get hold of that popping sound trance that sound likes a bunch of cockroaches have a conversation. The last time I heard anything of its kind was at a tranceparty in Franshoek South Africa Easter 1997 to be exact when Max Lanfranconi from etnica played with his group the pleadians. It was a flying rhino party of note and I have personally never experienced anything of that calibre again. Please I know someone out there knows where I can get hold of this stuff. The machine used to make these sounds was a 303 beatbox

Yes, your probably right there lauri, but do we want pop rubbish to be filled with good Trance? We couldn't be able to avoid the horriable mix of music, the radios, the RADIOS!!, also I hate those cheap pop songs that try to immate Trance, like that 'blue aba di aba die' song, I HATE IT. But as my brother says 'The good stuff never die out.' Guess that Hallucinogen - Or maybe Shpongle now!!! will always get through... Also, I would like to see how old the people are who listen to this ambient music. I'm 15 and I started listening to it when i was 13, many of my friends and people I meet have never heard of Trance!!, so if any young ones out there who listen to PROPER Trance, could ya E-mail me? Please?

I think...
Almost every genre of music in the past started of underground, fueled by: a few fanatic musicians, a group of deicated followers and the fact that the music was new and exciting. And in almost every case, at least in recent times, the genre has eventualy to some degree become mainstream, which inevitabley led to the music quality severly declining and too many people listerning to it for the wrong reason which inevitably led to original vibe and energy getting all fucked up. The entire background behind techno and trance is its underground nature and that is a contributing factor to the reason many of us like it so much.
Keep it underground, keep it real,
they don't bloody deserve it anyway.

here in france the average trance fan is a littlebit older than in serbia (about 20/25)it seems that younger kids here are often more involved in rap but it depends also of where they are living (suburbans are in rap ; others are more involved in technomusic, but trance is still very underground even if there are some big events (essentially in paris).there was a huge explosion of goatrance in paris in 95 but we return to more confidentiality very rapidly... why not? small is beautiful sometimes...

its so hard to find decent trance in this country...the clubs are all really shit and the only decent psy-trance night got shut down...because it was attracting the "wrong" crowd...and whats that you may ask....well it was the people who actually wanted to listen to some decent music for a change....go figure!....i've been dj'ing since 1993 and the reaction to psy-trance in clubs in this country is appalling which is a real shame because some of the stuff thats released is really amazing....stuff from the likes of hallucinogen, astral projection...and loads of stuff on dragonfly, transient and matsuri....these guys are led by the cream of creative geniuses.....what can i say people, most people are like sheep always following each otherlisten to the same things...you have to break out of that and experience new types of sound it'll open up a whole new world....it did for me....slan abhaile......and by the way the city im talking about is cork city in ireland....the land of utterly brainless trendy clubby people and music.....seeya...slan aris!

I think...that I like the sound of trance from around 96 to 97, when I first started going to 'Return to the Source' and the Fridge. Back then parties were fun on the London Trance scene, now the music has taken a dark turn and the London partiers have assumed a serious approach to the party. Thankfully other cities (such as Bristol, where I had the pleasure of living for six months) treat the trance scene a lot more light-heartedly, and act a lot more naturally and selflessly. Well...er...bye then.

However this has ruined its special fealing for me that kids of 5 and over can try to enjoy something that gave me individuality and a passion. Also it has caused pop/trance bands to appear such as Alice deejay. Do you agree or disagree?

Trance is the best music without a doubt. Its uplifting, melodic....and it free's your mind. It lifts u up, and takes u into the sky. Open's up your mind, and makes u think about life, and the way the world should really be. People are into eurodance, or hardcore.....but I say, does that stuff make u think, does it open up your mind? Does it make u happy? I think not, to each his/her own. Dance to Trance, looze yourself in it, smile, close your eyes...follow the song, follow the words to the stars and open up your mind, live....forever.

I hope goa trance will be as various as nowadays, not only monotonic trax. I love the old sound of Astral Projection (Kabalah, People can fly) and it's a shame that there's nobody else making that kind of music today...
However, the future is not that dark, thanx to bands like Infected Mushroom. They really have the new sound of goatrance, I LOVE their melodic style, even better than Astral !! I wish there was more bands making music like IM, but sure that's not so easy to compose melodies which make u fly... but i'll always be waiting for other tracks like Bust a move !!

If you want to hear the new sound of trance, check out the music coming from Scandinavia-mainly Finland! Bands like Texas Faggot, Haltya, Kiwa Project!!!! It's fresh, it's not GOA, it's quite psychedelic, but it doesn't use those lame ass melodies and arpeggios from 1996, it's more based on wicked grooves and rhythms, spiced up with funky riffs and rhythmisms....check out stuff coming from Exogenic Records this fall, distributed by Cosmophilia...it's not Astral Projection, it's much better and 10 more interesting, and their shelf-life is longer than two weeks!! This is not a promo, I'm just a trance fan bored with the old, not to mention ISRAELI -sound, and I want more peopole to hear the great new stuff that's out there, which has nothing to do with GOA and everything to do with excellent, fresh party music...come to the notrh, and see the light!!!!

Just thought I'd throw a big manky cat amonst the psychedlic pigeons - Anyone see Flying Rhino Label Manager Cass' remarks in Ministry magazine (UK commercial dance wank-mag) recently??? I quote:- "Goa Trance is for idiots", then goes on to say that "anyone can make it". Then the article goes on to mention the fact the the guy's just done a (bit dull) remix of Astral Projection's Liquid Sun (I can't think of a more 'Goa' band - can you?). "Goa" was just the name for the music for several years, then it changed to "Psytrance", now it seems to be "Progressive Trance" - same people, same parties, same venues, same RECORD LABELS, basically the same music only ten years on. I reckon there's the distant sound of Ringpiece Resonance, and a faint whiff of Bovine Bowel Bovril!!! Hallucinogen's debut album would be "Goa", and the day Cass releases something as 'easy to make' as that, that sounds as good, I'll commence the hat eating ceremony, but until then, I'll leave his "oh so clever" but irritatingly dull "Fire" CD on it's shelf...

If psychedelic/goa-trance ever should go mainstream, we pack our bags, (I can take with me my dj equipment and my records), and move to a beach far far away. There we will make a harmonic trance culture society:) Say, somewhere in Thailand or Malaysia(?) where the capitalism can't reach us... No time, no career, just go out fishing and build strawhuts when the sun is up and dance all night long!!!:):):)

I think...good trance the way we like it will never go mainstream, but the word "trance" and some of the big ones we like to listen now will probably go mainstream. The solution, i guess, is: Don't stick to labels, stick to feelings! If in a couple of years what people call trance doesn't make you feel good, then probably the good vib will be in another thing. If a band or DJ that you like now doesn't sound that great in the future, others will! Keep your mind free, never forget to feel! Don't give up! Good vibrations have been with humanity since the begining (and bad ones too), you just have to find them, anywhere, anytime!

Moments when we are really alive, are those when we're dancin' in a dark forrest full with bubbling voices and freaky beats. Those are the moments which are real. Everythin' else is happenin' only in our minds. Oh fguvck! I think I'm trippin' out...and it's tuesday, and I've got school tomorrow. My girlfriend's gonna kill me if she reads this. I think... that it is sad how so many partiers have become close-minded about their music. This is not to say that everyone is, but there are quite a few people that will only listen to Psych trance, or only listen to house. The greatest quality that electronic music has is it's adaptability and range. It is a shame to say that one type of techno is better than the other, because each has a unique style that expresses itself to a set or group of listeners. I love trance, and NRG, DNB, Jungle, Psychedelic, and even some hard house.
And what's with the sexual aspect in a rave, I find that it is getting rather irritating. I do think that the girls can be attractive at a rave, but it is not meant to be a meat market. One should go to a rave to have fun with friends, dance, and listen to music that you enjoy. When a rave has people walking around trying to 'grind' with girls, the place loses the essential vibe. People are no longer gathering just to have a good time, but rather to find a cute girl that is fucked up. I'm not saying that you might not meet someone at a rave and 'hit it off', but this should not be the primary motive for a rave, if you want to pull, go to a club.
I'm looking for a good party to go to fo Christmas and for New Years, if anybody knows and good Psych party's for either of these days, please email me the info.
Also, for a large variety of music that you can listen to online, go to 206underground.com This is a Seattle based techno site that offers a range of DJ's to listen to.

I know.. You silly Brits, you're just getting into the drug game. Wanna be some burnouts? You're all missing the point. Drugs aren't life. You cannot derive any transcendental, spirit bullshit from something of the physical world like drugs. You'll learn someday, and perhaps even get quite a "bloody" scare when you decide to dabble a little bit farther into drugs and end up with quite a spasm of the heart. Drugs can be fun in moderation. But I implore you, if you're going to use them, listen to good music like the Doors, The Dead, Hendrix....The Beatles, all of which ended up in America, the home of progress. Get up to speed and don't lose your friggin' wanker heads
American Advice
Fri Mar 9 11:42:18 GMT 2001
Don't forget that Hendrix became popular in the UK, first and it was only his performance at the Monterey festival in the summer of 67(after acheiving success in the UK first) that brought him into the American gaze(read your psychedelic history). The 60's has gone and you have the CD's to listen to. Drugs can open doors but that's all they do and besides mankind has been experimenting for thousands of years. As for the US being progressive, what's progressive about high school kids wielding guns and killing each other?

Hi to all. My name is Et-ian (9/feb/1983) and i am from the Maltese Islands (Europe). I have been listening to PSY TRANCE since 1994 (believe it or not the first time i heard Psy Trance was on a local radio station late at night being played by a local dj - i still remember the mix and have recorded a part of it pn tape - it was "Long Shamanic Trance" of Tsuyoshi Suzuki, that radio program was only a one time program and i consider myself fortunate to have heard it at that time - The mix totally inspired and impressed me and i listened to the recording again and again - i had never experienced such a sound - at that time i was fascinated by the beat and the ambiental electronic sounds, and i started dancing around with that music). As years passed by, i wanted to listen more and more of that music and i started exploring more depper into this electronic sound which is so vast. In fact at the moment I listen both to Israeli, Japanese and European and Australian Psy trance producers (few of my favourites : Hallucinogen, Juno Reactor, Man With No Name, Prana, Astral Projection, Infected Mushroom) and both to European Underground Dance Music. I know Psy Trance is the maximum level of sound combination there is, but i love to listen mixes from djs such as John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren , Paul Oakenfold, Danny Tenaglia, Sven Vath, Anthony Pappa and Steve Lawler, and believe me, in the same way i understand Psy Trance, i find that other forms of Trance such as Deep, Tribal, Progressive and Tech Trance are as much intelligent, constructive and interesting as Psy Trance. Its difficult to enjoy a mix of John Digweed full of Tech House and Trance, but ones you understand it and start getting into it, i assure everyone that its intelligent, and made with a unique style of mixing. Psy Trance is the most effective style of Trance and it is much more easy to get lost into Psy Trance than into another form of electronic music. It is a matter of experience, exploring new electronic music such as ambient and new-age, will give a better idea of music and enhance the sound knowledge. It is a fantastic exploration of the Innerself and of the Universe. It is not wise to be closed minded and focus for example just on Psy Trance or just on House, or just on techno. Although Psy Trance is the most Energetic and the most powerful sound, i have learnt to get the most out of many sorts of electronic music.
I just want to make some reflections about Electronica. I am not interested, if my friends do not understand and spit on the music i listen to (and they say that it is crap and repetitive), which is mainly Drone Ambient, Cyber/Space music, New-Age, Classical, Deep/Tech/Tribal/Progressive House and Trance, Goa and Psy Trance, Ambient Techno, Brain Dance etc ....
What i am interested in, are the EMOTIONS, FEELINGS & EFFECTS that i obtain from EXPLORING electronic music such as Psychedelic Trance. For example i can pass a whole night listening to Drone Ambient/Ambient Trance (such as Nocturnal Emissions/ Future Sound Of London), just minimalistic and very intelligent sounds of drones and chipset sounds which when listened carefully and intelligently can give you a unique sense of music exploration. I can pass a night travelling and dreaming in my imagination listening to Goa Trance. But this applies only for those who are able to get into and experience this style of music, understand it and live in it.
My friends can pass a day listening to Pop and Commercial Dance music (Ex: Britney Spears and Eiffel 65). The difference between what we listen is only a matter of sound. I want to explore the sound in itself while experiencing incredible emotions and personal ecstacy, but my friends are interested in hearing beautiful words and nice vocals on a simple tune, regardless of the sound behind the whole song. It does not matter if the sound they are listening to is commercial crap, it can be also non-sense, but they got into that stuff transmitted over and over again on the radio stations and on MTV and other music stations. Well, as long as everyone enjoys the music for me its ok, but which music can give the higher states of mind and the most effective feelings ? - Absolutely Goa/Shamanic/Psy Trance.
What makes GOA/PSY TRANCE so UNIQUE in its form of sound is absolutely its creative electronic wedges filled with energetic and inspirating blends of twisted harmony and acidic melody driven by speedy bass drums, droning percussions, high synths & riffs, blasted by intelligent breaks.
In my opinion this form OF SOUND is to be kept STRICTLY UNDERGROUND and the reasons can be easily understanded by answering the following questions. [1] : What makes Psy Trance so Special and Unique ? [2] Why is Psy Trance so important and loved by those who listen to it ? [3] Why is Psy Trance so Respected and Admired by its followers ?
Psy Trance is an UNDERGROUND form of music which means that it is neither commercial and neither promoted on Internation Media such as TVs and Radios. Psy Trance is the music in relation to Science Fiction, Dreams, Visions, Fantasy, Aliens, Elfs, Pagans, Ancestors, Religion and Magic such as Buddhism & Shamanism, Outer Space and Innerself. This is because of its sounds which are as fast as the speed of light and as traumatic as a lost state of mind.
One last issue which is the most important and fundamental element of Goa Trance. Being it played in a FOREST, in a RAVE, in a CLUB, in an OPEN AIR or PRIVATE PARTY, on a BOAT, in the CAR, in the HOUSE, in the BEDROOM, on the HEADPHONES, in any OTHER EVENT, in any COUNTRY in the WORLD or in OUTER SPACE (sounds do not travel in space), GOA Trance is a form of Music based on RESPECT, PEACE & LOVE, and any other VALUABLE ELEMENTs OF LIFE. Psy TRANCE is serious and proper music. I really believe in its energy and fullfillment. I try to be as open minded as possible but I really HATE those CLUBBERS, RAVERS, PARTY PEOPLE or anything else, who go to a GOA/PSY TRANCE EVENT, and instead of dancing and enjoying the sound with others, they feel SUPERIOR, GET IN FIGHTS, are OFFENIVE and HURT others, AND DISRUPT a RAVE PARTY with their stupid anomalies and bad behaviour. I think that TRANCE leads to wonderful and enjoyable feelings. And I SINCERELY INSIST on having CLEAN PSY TRANCE PARTIES/RAVES, with RESPECTFUL people, regardless of their appearance and regardless of their age. TRANCE can be UNITY or INDIVIDUALITY, and every follower is treated alike and every follower is always welcomed as a friend. We can Live, we can Dream, and we can be in a TRANCE. It is really impressive how much this music effected my life. I listen to Electronic Music everyday and i would not stay without Trance. Maybe i am addicted, but to something in which i trust, and to something in which i believe can lead me towards my destinations if i have any.
Drugs or any other substances which effect our body & mind can cuause strange effects and feelings. LSD and XTC are higly associated with Trance music. I would not like to express anything against drugs but i can say that they have undesirable side effects in the long run and so LSD and XTC are not worth trying considering that their highness and hallucinogious effect longs only for a few hours and afterwards one has to experience the negative consequences leading to harm and evolving pain throughout the whole body. However LSD and XTC can give Hallucinogenious Inimmaginable effects and unique sensations, something like "I can feel the LSD floating through my entire body, streaming through every pore. All of my most sensitive areas are in flames, my extremities pulsating in tingling sensation. It was a fantastic and exhilarating sensation that would open new worlds for me. An exciting experience I would never forget. I was suddenly aware of every small detail in the room. I began to float up and away from my body".
My personal appreciation and respect goes to all those electronic music artists from all over the world who work to give us new sensations and new inspirations & also to all those who spent some of their time reading all this. My email is etnluv@hotmail.com and everyone is welcome to share any PSY TRANCE music knowledge. Hope to see some of you in my next Voyage Into Trance.
Peace, Love & Respect. Et-ian.

Psychedelic trance always existed, i believe it's nothing that can be written to history as an invention of our times.
But it's this awareness of the importance of trance - important for some of us to enjoy a full and cool life - that is an invention of our times. Maybe it's a re-invention, but noone really can say when it happened the last time...Psytrance-Parties are rituals that last for 12 hours to 10 days, you don't work, you're not busy with your daily grind (and no stupid neighbours sitting beside you, like maybe your grandparents had to see every sunday in the church). The parties are intensif, peacefull, people are generally very cool, sometimes they're not very happy, when there are 2 much security-issues present.
What's the ritual then? Everybody who really is present at the party has the intention to leave their normal life and enter into Music, Dance, cool moments with friends. Important is psychological and physical wellness - not very important is sex and fame - money-affairs and nasty games seem to be the most unimportant things of the world.
Rituals are made to give us the opportunity to get what we want in our psychological world. This happens on psytrance-parties.
The psytrance-movement is world-wide and it's not again some religion and it's not again a company - that's why psytrance and related events do have already nowadays an important role for the cultural history of us.
I personally consider psytrance to have real potential to change society world-wide for some of the next 100s of years - in religion, music, social respect and solidarity among the people ...-*-.

I think... I feel...
Why limit yourselves to ritual contact, trance, psychological wellness only during psychedelic parties?
Its a big world out there, and its all YOU. there is beauty in every bit of it, fun to be had, peace to be found. everywhere.
(can you tell I got really bored of trance? - and I saw the big, isolating, feeding monster that lives at the heart of all 'elite' scenes. enjoy!)

One of the biggest facinations for me regarding trance and it's origins is the countries it originates from, mainly Germany and Israel(psytrance) A musical form that can be as energetically complex and stomping as it can be soothingly minimal and subtle. A sound like this comes from the depths of a psyche dynamically compelled by mythical vibrations to create a sound that expresses the deepest of feelings. I especially get this feeling from the modulated synth key used in all great Israeli psy trance. It is the sound of life and movement amidst the turbulent atmosphere of age old wars. And certain areas of progressive trance also have a righteous sound. The cheesey stuff doesnt resonate with me but stuff like Cass and slide, Timo Mass, Breeder(Rhythm syndicate)or newer Bedrock all can have a particular feel similar to the best sounds of psy trance.
I have always wondered why it is that keyboard sounds esp in trance music pack such an emotional power. It is a collective thing carrying to the sounds made by string instruments from violin to piano. It seems to me that trance as it appeals in different forms is a way to feel deep emotions. Suffice to say that is what music is for me. Quinn

I think that Ahltya makes the best music i´ve heard in a long time and i´ve been listening to goa tracne since it still was goa and in goa and when it used to be cool and exciting back in 91. the music was a bit stuck for a long time, all the germans doing their minimal shit and all. i like it psychedelic and exciting. It´s haltya music and it´s all that! i have gotten so many shitty cd´s i can´t play anywhere (ofcourse the people would like it but i don´ty). stuff like hux lux used to be exciting in 97 but not anymore. haltya and kambonite plus stuff like oon astra attache are the new style.

Any of you kid mess with glowsticks, gloves or foot work.
Any true trance head would know. I think trance is a emotion, state of mind, and a way of life. The music only helps people define themselves, what your purpose is. Music is music, trance is subconscience, what the dj is feeling at that moment is then transferred through electronics, through speakers, through the ears, to your brain, through receptors, dispersing to the subconscious, and the to the central nervous system. That is why trance dancers are "trippy"...every tone, break, and beat are recognized by the subconscious, however if the person is cannot recognize their trance channel, or are new to the feeling they will not experience the complete bliss that the music brings. People have a misconception of what trance is. Trance is perfect, djs fuck up. Remember that. BY THE WAY I'M FROM SAC, CALI AND THE SCENCE IS ALRIGHT, BETTER WHEN I PRACTICE WITH TURNTABLES

I think... Life is a twisted illusion of what should be real. Pure music is where real people can find themselves, it's beautiful. the problam with mainstreaming is that the feelings we all cherish will become corrupted by things such as politics, music videos, money and bad sex. mmmeeeeeoooowwww

The music envolpes my mind, my soul. Gloves on hands, moving freely, passionately. My body is liquid. My eyes shift from the heavens to catch a glimpse of the lights, the crowd, the energy. I find that place where music and dance become love, and I am at peace. This is what trance means to me.

I think...Goa is the ultimate anti social music.I don't go to raves or other such events because i'm afraid of you people {All people}.Robot music is cool BECAUSE it has no soul...but lots of spirit. When i have to go out into the grim-future-time,my walkman is my life support system. The umbilical running to my ears enhances my fighting spirit, making me invulnerable. No one can fuck with me for 10 minutes after an auditory dose of goa.
Sure my skills are artificially enhanced.Assault rifles are artififial too.Goatrance is artificial;thats why it's perfect.Humans invented music, but computers perfected it.Now computers have perfected humans...Yes I know humans invented computers...we are their disposable parental units.Look out your window to see how disposable.Terorists,disease,polution...and me.
...Who will survive?
