This set was recorded live at Spacecamp Psyfari in Iowa, USA, on the morning of August 24th, 2014, featuring 100% Creative Commons-licensed music from Ektoplazm. I began at sunrise, transitioning from a night of hard and heavy hi-tech into full-on psychedelic morning trance by the very end, touching on darkpsy, forest, twilight, new school Goa trance, and a hint of Suomi-style madness along the way. As always this set was completely unscripted, a product of the moment. I let intuition be my guide and this adventurous romp through the many styles of upbeat psytrance is the result! Neogoa proudly presents the first full-length release by Goa trance project BlackStarrFinale. The man behind this project, Luis Pabón, has been a huge part of our netlabel for the last three years, releasing his music on almost every compilation that we’ve published as well as compilations from Phototropic and Underground Alien Factory Records. Now, in 2013, he is finally releasing his long-awaited album, AURYN. His vision of the modern Goa trance sound can be described as highly melodic story-driven psychedelia with groovy and chunky rhythms. After exactly one year, Neogoa‘s first compilation (voted the best compilation of 2010) gets a sequel: Dimensional Gateway 2. Over 120 minutes of high-quality Goa trance and psytrance music from all over the world is presented on this compilation alongside printable cover artwork and high-resolution wallpapers and posters. The style of the first part of this compilation can be described as darker and more experimental while the second part focuses more on melodic side of Goa trance. All tracks were carefully selected by label head Richpa, while mastering was done by Igor Čeranić at Deimos Soundlabs and cover artwork design by Ivan Parić at Neogoa Design.
