Emergence is a process where randomness can give rise to complex and deeply attractive, orderly structures, and events that can’t be predicted or explained on the basis of previous terms. Emergence is also the second full-length album by Neon. In this work some concealed unknown algorithms of progressive trance are being uncovered. This release rises from depths of the unexplainable and is a result of year and a half of work where the artist simply let his ideas freely flow and manifest in musical structures, albeit with the focus on keeping “the game” within the chosen genre. “An emergent property of the soil is fertility. Neon returns to Pureuphoria Records with Transgressive, a new collection of boundary-crossing trance tunes filled with emotive energy. Following up on the release of Hypersonic, this set of tunes explores deeper progressive modes of trance, exploring the phenomenon of “transgression”, of crossing between the possible and the impossible. Human consciousness enters into a liminal state at the moment of transition from one paradigm to the next. This transgressive moment is beyond comprehension and ultimately indescribable with the linguistic tools available to us. Here the artist explores the “confusion of speech” and aims to devise a language to express the feeling of transgression. Virtuality from Pureuphoria Records is a fresh collection of progressive psytrance from around the world. Since the 21st century the term “virtuality” has acquired meaning as a condition in which the subject loses the ability to distinguish between the real world and constructed, virtual worlds. Virtuality, then, is a state that does not really exist, but which may occur under certain conditions. It is a state where the subjective imaginary begins to directly affect the world through the individual. This compilation means to challenge the unreal and break into virtual realms of sound.
