Rose Red Flechette – Inutilis

Free Music | Darkpsy, Experimental, Psycore | January 26, 2017 | Released by Anomalistic Records & Splatterkore Reck-ords | Posted by Basilisk

Rose Red Flechette – Inutilis
01 - Sentient Scourge (0 BPM)
02 - Chassis (205 BPM)
03 - Weaponize (197 BPM)
04 - Mandatory Intracranial Remote Rebooters (187 BPM)
05 - Black Horizon (Iszoloscope Remix) (150 BPM)

From the abyssal noise devouring the psychedelic wailing of “Sentient Scourge” to the whiplash-inducing beats of “Weaponize”, the rule-breaking, ambitious Inutilis continues to build on Rose Red Flechette‘s broken, polymetric, psychedelic industrial sound, using ever-higher BPMs, incorporating hip-hop backbeats, eschewing samples, and featuring longer, almost symphonic tracks with rhythms that defy resolution. Taking the Latin term for “useless, unserviceable, without utility” as its namesake, it was composed with the refusal of industrial music to follow rules, or to be a tool or product with a function, in mind. Tracks 1-4 mastered by Priapizzm. Track 5 mastered by Iszoloscope. Artwork by SHVLFCE. Released by Anomalistic Records and Splatterkore Reck-Ords.

Pororoca is an experimental project fusing the talents of Eremit (Jan Kurzmann) and GastraxX (Timo Neff). The name of the project is rooted in the indigenous Tupi language, where it describes a big tidal wave in the Amazon River and can be translated as “great noise”. This is a good metaphor for Jan and Timo’s approach on this album, where everything is about the sounds themselves without being limited to genre-specific standards. Apart from their explorations of the psytrance universe they both share a love for jazz-influenced downtempo and world music with tribal rhythms and experimental compositions. This passion results in an eclectic collection of songs, each with its own taste and story, molded into a full-length experience with plenty of guest features. Music that makes you drift away, just to catch you up again at the right time and leave you smiling in the end; welcome to the Opposite Orchestra! Written and produced by Pororoca and friends. Guitars played by Jan Kurzmann and Stavros Skouras (Metasoliton). Flute and Hang Drum by Mrs. & Mr. X. Mastering by Timo Neff with artwork by Timo Neff and Rebecca Klein.

08 - Mnesprakhzan (179.82 BPM)
09 - Tel Sof (227/151.333 BPM)

Bazel explores an exotic world, a realm where space and time cease to exist. As if the thoughts and ramblings of a deity were elegantly arranged and suddenly splattered onto an auditory canvas, the psychedelic waterfalls of intense emotion and complex arrangements from Spruce are nearly beyond definition. From extraordinarily dark soundscapes to euphoric orchestrations of beautiful synths, nothing can truly be expected when diving into this atmospheric ocean of sound. The harmonic chattering of entities, distant sounds of metal echoing throughout endless chambers, planets collapsing in an explosion of life and death, and much, much more fill the colorful hallways of this arabesque kingdom. Prepare yourself to be lifted into another universe, for the next hour and a half will be an incredible adventure only previously explored in the ancient legends of faraway lands. Music and cover art by Spruce. Mastered by Xexify Studios. Promo text by Nick Sumbles.

Silicon Slave – Loudmouth

Free Music | Bass Music, Experimental, Glitch | January 15, 2016 | Released by  | Posted by Basilisk

Silicon Slave – Loudmouth
01 - Room To Seethe (100 BPM)
02 - De Generator (100 BPM)
03 - Weaponized Affection (95 BPM)
04 - Corporate Furry (100 BPM)
05 - Looking Back (97 BPM)

07 - Keepin It Surreal (Remastered) (105 BPM)

Silicon Slave returns with Loudmouth, a satirical, obnoxious, in-your-face mixture of psychedelic bass music and live hip-hop thought up in the dark, twisted recesses of Augustus Walker’s mind. Unlike the rest of your friends, Loudmouth isn’t afraid to tell you that you’re an unemployed drug addict, living in your mother’s basement (and probably still will be when you’re 40). Sure, you could get off the computer, get a stable job and move out. But that wouldn’t be in your “true” nature—and it’ll probably send your energy way out of whack. So, who are you kidding? Do your ears a favor and have a listen to Loudmouth. Mastered by Augustus Walker with photography and graphic design by Tali Drohan.
