The faster end of the psytrance spectrum, clocking in at 180+ BPM. Almost certainly an extension of darkpsy but a lot of it isn't really that dark--just fast and crazy. Although it is certainly an acquired taste it enjoys a great deal of support worldwide. Psycore is also related to neurotrance or hi-tech.

We’re living at the age where a few companies are about to have total control over our water, food, raw materials, production, even ourselves. Wars, oppression, human exploitation, unemployment, poverty and natural disasters give us all the feeling that this bubble is about to explode! Could mankind be so stupid to destroy itself? Will our times come to be called by future generations as the Age Of Apocalypse? After participating in a killer birthday party for Noizhartt this group of artists decided to share some of their finest tunes with those of us still standing. Experimental, fast, and aggressive, this compilation is a call for struggle against the darkest premonitions of what’s coming next for our world. Compiled by Noizhartt, artwork by Foundinaforest, mastered by Nik Mar @ Pupsidelic Media, Greece, produced by Jyro, and released by Badgers Records. Special thanks to all artists for their awesome music, Noizhartt for selecting those killers, Foundinaforest for her awesome artwork, and of course all you Badgers for your support. You know who you are! Cannibals enjoy.

Violence/Vacuity is the 3rd full-length release by Rose Red Flechette. It explores new sonic territory and attempts to push even more boundaries with some new synthesis techniques and diametrically opposed influences. With the artist’s trademark cyberpunk flair, Violence/Vacuity conceptually explores a very simple duality between the near future’s third and first world, the reality of the violence in the former and the emptiness of the peace in the latter. It asks of the listener the choices, or lack thereof, that we make between suffering and complacency, between chaos and banality, between true war and false peace. Mastered by Priapizzm at Anomalistic Studios with artwork by Nullmenge.
