I must say this again: I don’t like techno. I never listened to it… until guys like Glitchy.Tonic, Kino Oko and Horns and Hoofs made my day with albums like this! This stuff is Good!! Awesome sounds, sounds, and more unique sounds!! Off my soapbox now, and back to the headphones. You guys rock!

  • faxinadu says:

awesome! honored to be on this compilation, much love

  • kaniz says:

Few tracks in, nice CD so far. First track sort of reminds me of Ricardo Villalobos.

  • Real-Music Lover says:

    Minimal garbage for kids
    1/5

  • public observer says:

    absolutely boring. unrhythmic. not danceable.
    perfect for the elevator.

  • faxinadu says:

those two comments above are kinda off, i mean of course it is your right to love it or hate it, but from the tone it seems you are anti this genre, so why come and comment? you might as well go and comment on every single britney spears type song you find too ;)

  • Basilisk says:

I had to delete a few comments for being abusive and off-topic. Your opinion is welcome whether or not you like a release but don’t be a dick about it :)

  • faxinadu says:

    fair enough, thanks alex

  • public observer says:

oh , faxi doesn`t likes critics. don`t be a fool , i really love this genre , but only if it sounds good. nice day to ya all.

  • javaskunk says:

@public observer: No need to get all uptight about it. Like Basilisk said, opinions are welcome but don’t be a dick about it. I think negative reviews are best served with an explanation. Maybe Faxi just needs a bit more of the why?

I’m not really into this stuff, but I’ve got to say that Wallop made me smile… and that’s really what it’s all about, right? Also, I zoned out totally. I blinked and my kitchen was clean. That alone is enough reason to like this album.

  • public observer says:

like i said, it sounds boring, like the most of the songs were built in 10minutes, no structure, no story, no flow, no producer skills.
maybe it`s hard to hear for some people. but it`s the truth.

  • Gay Satanic Hippie says:

    Hello Mr. Public Observer,

you are aware of the fact that the music on this site is free, right? As in you pay nothing for it, and you can take or leave it and no ones forcing you to do anything. What I dont get is why you are coming in here dissing something that is basically a gift. No ones gonna get upset if you come in here and say that you dont like it, and even less so if you give constructive criticism that goes deeper than “You suck, you are an amateur”. Thats just plain rude. Imagine the following scenario. You walk down a street, and some nice person is giving away free pieces of cake to everyone who walks by. You try some the cake and you don`t like it. Would you go to the person and scream in his face “You suck, you are horrible cook, why did you make me eat this cake, how could you unleash this cake onto this world!”. Probably not, you would most likely say thank you, smile, and walk away. Or maybe you would say “I dont really like this type of cake, theres too much sugar in it for my taste, but thanks anyways”. And that would be perfectly fine. No one forbids you to voice your opinion, Basilisk just forbids you to be an asshole (even though as a Gay Satanic Hippie, I really do like assholes, but thats a whole other matter ;) That being said, I really dig this compilation as I stated above, and especially Faxinadus track!

    ESPANCAAA!!!!

  • pablito says:

Thanks for sharing this compilation. I’m really into this music (Horns and Hoofs, Boshke Beats etc..) and i have to say that it’s really something new, sounds fresh and really underground. When somebody does smth new there’re always come couple of haters who says that it is unmelodic, unprofessional and so on. When you receive such comments u must understand that you’re doing smth really good, otherwise all close-minded will love you like Sander Van Doorn. I wish you to continue your experiments with sound, for me it’s best peak-time music, tested on the dancefloor on the druggy discoteque:) From Russia with love)

  • ricardo says:

    thankc

  • RossyG says:

@ Public Observer: Dude…you dont have to listen to it, you definitely dont have to download it, and you most certainly don’t need to be a troll about it…just pack up your mincey bollocks, and download Justin Bieber from a YouTube Converter, and save us all the ridiculous upheaval. I fully appreciate that your ‘comments’ are most definately down to personal preference…but pal, we don’t really care.
@ FaxiNadu…so good to hear some new stuff from you mate! Great job!
    @ GSH…been listening to Tiefenrausch…mindblowing pal!

  • Nymphomania says:

Wow, I’m surprised this is rated so low. A deeply pleasant experience comparable to the best of Digital Diamonds, Glitchy.Tonic, Micro Cosmos 3, etc. 5/5

  • n3s says:

    boring. not suitable for dancing.

  • Csaba says:

I’m not sure why all the bad comments, coz it’s definitely worth moving your ass to… It’s nice, calm, techno music… and I like it.

    my music
    for download ;) :D

  • Bill says:

Excellent compilation! It’s a great introduction to some new artists – especially Mammal Footwork and Stas Zotov. Great contributions by the always reliable Deto & Gleam and Excizen. Individually, some of the tracks are not as great as the sum of its parts, meaning the compilation is very cohesive, the last track supporting and enhancing the next track. It is extremely well compiled and presented.

  • anakinwing says:

There`s not much good to say about this cd. I think the bad comments are right and everybody should accept critics, even if they are bad. Especially faxi nadu who has one of the worst tracks on this compilation. Peace!

  • Kozaki says:

wow, i really like this album. *-*

  • mnah says:

I fell in love with the first track, I would love to produce a track with a tabla beat. Well done.

  • Mike D says:

Really lovely release here. Taken from the perspective of how it sits alone, it contain some very well crafted sonic entities that may or may not work on a dance floor but definitely make headphknes listening an experience. Under the H&H banner it’s a bit of a different take to the harder early Russian tech sounds but time moves on and so does sound.

I’ve been following the more techno side of this psychedelic scene from over 15 years ago & I’m impressed at how well most of the standards from te early days have been adapted to meet modern standards, more so that psychedelic full on or progressive.

Big thanks to Anyer for the selection, Inga for the art & of course the sonic manipulative for the deep psychedelic sounds. Looking very forward to vol. 2 :)

  • Mike D says:

    Sorry for the typos lol.

  • masterfile says:

    simply amazing! will recommend it

  • n370 says:

I think of Shaga bar… underground sounds…. killah!!!

  • Teskky says:

GReat work., love the first song !!

  • ne says:

This deserves a much higher ranking. Very pleasant sounds

  • NeuroleptiX says:

Mám raději tvrdší Techno. Toto je příliš minimalistické, spíše na relaxační poslech než na tancování.
