Free Music | Full-On, Techtrance | September 6, 2015 | Posted by Basilisk

Yaqub – Mythopoetics
01 - Reflective Reflex (144 BPM)
02 - Reflexivity (144 BPM)
03 - Stagatype (137 BPM)
04 - Beyond The Fear (145 BPM)

Coming with a hard techie edge and a strong dance floor sensibility, Yaqub‘s sound reflects a background growing up in the Melbourne rave scene and love of the break. The Mythopoetics EP incorporates classic rolling techno aesthetics laid over a full-on psytrance backbone, conceptually focusing on the inherently allegorical nature of the psyche in its drive towards the Absolute. Mastered by Jack The Bear @ Deluxe Mastering. Photography by Don Pettit @ NASA. Design by Yaqub.

This stuff is fucking great! Very nice melodies, mysterious tripped out goa-esque vibe & melodies, perfect dynamic mastering job, makes you want to turn it up.

The techtrance stuff near the end almost sounds like a different artist, but is very high quality as well.

    Loved it 5/5
