The “advanced audio netlabel” Digital Diamonds was founded in late 2006 by Alic, a DJ and production duo from Muenster, Germany. Recognizing the future possibilities inherent in digital distribution, they seek to promote high-quality electronic music with a focus on “deep techno and trance music with soul.” Drawing upon the best aspects of both psytrance and techno, the Digital Diamonds sound is influenced by Midi Miliz/Extrawelt and labels like Boshke Beats and Kompakt Extra (Speicher).

After the synchronous release of their first two singles, Digital Diamonds enjoyed a strong response from music fans around the world.
